What better way to celebrate 11 years together then making it your Wedding Day. Hayden and Karen are “newly weds”….and behave besotted with each other even after all these years together!
Every aspect of the day had special meaning and personal touches, from Karen’s bouquet which was her favorite lavender flower that Hayden had planted especially for her. There was a lovely sand pouring part in the ceremony which symbolized the blending of two families and a family certificate signed by Hayden and Karen and all of the children. They even got to write each other a love letter and seal it in a box with a bottle of wine to open in years to come.
Karen wore a stunning strapless lace, full length gown with a sweetheart neckline and mermaid styling with a train. She had a beautiful sash with diamante feature around her waist, and a beautiful veil with delicate crystals sewn into it.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Tranquil Gardens in Red Cliffs, amongst the lush gardens with massive established trees and colourful plantings, winding paths, lovely secluded spaces and with the rolling vineyards surrounding the property.
The Bride arrived in style in a GTS G1, while H’s (Groom) truck had their son and Karen’s brother. (which was exceptionally shiny Hayden!!!), and the third truck had Karen’s Dad. Hayden arrived on a Harley Davidson, there was plenty of chrome, horsepower and all out awesome style with the mode of transportation.
The Bride danced down the aisle to “Dear Future Husband” and Hayden and celebrant Pam Nelson were cutting up some awesome dance moves keeping with the fun and energetic entrance.
The reception was amazing and was held at the D’Vine Shed in Irymple. The beautiful building was dressed with buntings and rustic hession and earthy tones with plenty of handmade candles. The music for the evening was provided by Iwan and Andrea Soebardi, who were amazing!
The cake was three tiered and elegantly iced in a cream coloured icing , with hessian and lace trimmings which was made by Carina Griffiths and was finished off with a custom made cake topper.
They had guests travel from Melbourne, Clare SA and as far as Perth too…they said they had everyone there that means the world to them including family, friends, and workmates from both sides.
It was a day that truly blended two families into one and more importantly Karen is now finally MRS COOK 🙂
